using MD 2.8.1 / W7-64:

- I can create a GTK application in a new solution and then run/debug it
  as illustrated by the following recorded sessions:

- creating a GTK applicationd in an existing solution, just rebuilt from scratch using MD 2.8.1, targetting Net 4.0 + GTK 2.12, makes it impossible to run / debug

Can you copy&paste the full stacktrace in the exception dialog that popped up? In English, if possible.
