Description Chris Hardy [MSFT] 2011-10-20 09:33:44 UTC
Please use the proxy settings set up in the Mac OSX Preferences so Monodevelop autoupdate works on corporate networks (or provide a way to specify the Proxy manually).

Thank you.

MD gets the proxy from Mono, and Mono's proxy autodetect only works on Linux.
Comment 3 Jeffrey Stedfast 2011-10-20 11:31:05 UTC
I implemented CFNetwork proxy stuff in maccore which Mono's WebRequest stuff invokes for MonoTouch (we could make it invoke MonoMac.CoreFoundation.CFNetwork APIs too, if it doesn't already)

This doesn't appears to work correctly. It can't rely on loading MonoMac.dll, since it's not a framework assembly. We'll need to P/Invoke directly.

Increasing priority since it prevents customers getting updates via MonoDevelop.
