Description Mikayla Hutchinson [MSFT] 2013-10-28 01:54:30 UTC
It's not possible to build Xamarin Studio on Windows 8.1 / .NET 4.5.1, because of an error signing guiunit.

I can reproduce this on multiple machines, so it is not a local issue.

"c:\Users\Michael\vcs\monodevelop\main\external\guiunit\src\framework\GuiUnit_NET_4_0.csproj" (default target) (40) ->
(CoreCompile target) ->
  CSC : error CS1548: Cryptographic failure while signing assembly 'c:\Users\Michael\vcs\monodevelop\main\external\guiunit\src\framework\obj\Debug\net-4.5\GuiUnit.exe' -- 'Error signing assembly -- The parameter is incorrect. ' [c:\Users\Michael\vcs\monodevelop\main\external\guiunit\src\framework\GuiUnit_NET_4_0.csproj]

This is preventing me from working on XS on Windows.

Fixed by using a new snk.

Dunno what's wrong with the old nunit. Maybe .NET blacklisted it or something.
