Description Akhilesh kumar 2013-10-23 13:49:19 UTC
User is not able to save provisioning profile in xs for MonoMac and Xam.Mac project on release mode.

However, we are able to run Xam.Mac project on Release mode. But unable to run MonoMac project on Releace mode, it gives build error "Error: Bundling the Mono Runtime is only supported in Xamarin.Mac".
Build output: https://gist.github.com/atin360/df29fd29960ad06f19ca

Screencast: http://www.screencast.com/t/ZNlEMjee

Environment info:
Mac OSX 10.7.5
XS 4.0.14(Build 5)
Xam.Mac 1.6.25

Regression: This issue also exists issue with stable XS 4.0.12-3-1/XS 4.0.13-38-1

fixed in git master
Comment 2 narayanp 2014-01-17 07:55:51 UTC
I have checked this issue with following builds:

All Mac
X.S 4.2.3(build 127)
Mono 3.2.6

I am still getting same build error when run the MonoMac application in Release mode.

This is the gist for Build Output: https://gist.github.com/saurabh360/d7ed7b173807943508ef

Hence, reopening this issue.
Comment 3 Jeffrey Stedfast 2014-02-04 15:36:09 UTC
The build error is to be expected, since MonoMac does not support bundling the Mono runtime.
Comment 4 Mohit Kheterpal 2014-02-11 06:26:35 UTC
As per comment 3, Build error is expected i.e. provided in comment 2.

Hence, closing this issue. Changing its status verified.
