Steps to reproduce:
1. Open VS.
2. Connect VS to build host but do not pair.
3. Go to Tools->Options->Xamarin->iOS Settings.
4. Click 'Sync now'

Actual result: Nothing happens when user click on 'Sync now' link, when VS is connected to build host but not paired. While if user is paired with build host then getting Sync SDK trigger popup.

Dominique, what should happen when you choose 'Sync now' and you're not paired?
Comment 2 Dominique Louis 2013-10-16 16:12:22 UTC
I don't think we've ever discussed that scenario. I think it should prompt to be paired if not already paired though.

I've assigned this to Jose.

After discussing with Dominique, we have disabled the Sync now button meanwhile the connections (including pair). Once VS gets connected to Build Host the Sync Now button will become enabled.

Fixed in xamarinvs/master commit 2d6ca469cd3be619cf529837729606aef53dd0d6
xamarinvs/mtvs-1.6-series commit 85c57a18b00fd39cd09f8ca90e599a848a0a7eff

Today we have checked this issue on following builds :

VS 2012 / 2013
MTVS 1.6.131

Now sync option is disabled when VS is not paired with build host.
