In the solution window if you press F2 or right click and select rename enter a new name in to the file then deselect the window by pressing on the code area or another file it loses the name you supplied it and changes back to the original name.

To commit the name you MUST press enter, this is completely different to all OS and other IDEs

I'm confirming this is still happening on latest version on all platforms, this is because this is how GTK+ works(cancel action on focus lost).
