When you press play in MD, the device selection is ignored most of the time. This happens for both devices and simulator types/os versions. Changing the selection then changing it back sometimes fixes it. I have had to completely unplug the second device to reliably deploy/debug
If you disconnect a device, it then goes back to the wrong devices again.

can you get me a screencast or something so I can get a better idea of what you mean? It seems to work as expected, here...

Maybe it was fixed with the last update, having trouble duplicating it. What was happening, I had the iOS 6 simulator already running. Switched a project that was ios7 only. Click debug, and it would run it on the iOS 6 simulator until I changed the dropdown to something, then went back to ios7 simulator.
