Description Jonathan Pobst 2011-10-13 15:03:50 UTC
Variables that are referenced in delegates cannot be inspected, they return "Unknown identifier".

In the following test case, set a breakpoint on the CWL. You can mouse over tc2 and get the proper tooltip. If you mouse over tc, you get "Unknown identifier: tc".

using System;

namespace debugtest
	class MainClass
		public static void Main (string[] args)
			var tc = new TestClass ();
			tc.Click += delegate { Console.WriteLine (tc); };

			var tc2 = new TestClass ();
			tc2.Click += delegate { Console.WriteLine ("Hello"); };
			Console.WriteLine ("Breakpoint here");
		class TestClass
			public event EventHandler Click;

This seems to work in master - probably was fixed by one of the many patches I've committed lately.
