Description cmt.miniBill 2013-09-17 09:19:57 UTC
The following code compiles fine with mcs, but on the other hand is rejected by csc

using System;
public class Test
    struct Container { public int foo{get;set;}}
    readonly Container p;
    void Foo() { p.foo = 0; }
    static public void Main () { }
Comment 1 cmt.miniBill 2013-09-17 10:35:30 UTC
The Microsoft compiler says:

error CS1648: Members of readonly field 'XXX.Test.p' cannot be modified (except in a constructor or a variable initializer)
