Is this reproducible ?
I could probably repro it in Xamarin Studio if I re-enable the WebRequest.Abort() call (I've disabled it because I think that is inadvertently causing this?).
Its possible that the abort call truncates the compressed input to zlib, causing this crash.
I can look into this one but I need a way to reproduce it, saving the contents of the stream that's causing it would probably be enough to repro.
