We need to add the concept of 'read-only' controls to the iOS designer. This view is not supposed to be editable.

The root controller of the Tab Bar Controller hierarchy probably has the same issue and needs to be made readonly too.

Fixed in git for both UITabBarController and UINavigationController. I believe these are the only views which require this special 'read only' mode.

Today we have checked this issue with following build:

XS 5.0 (build 685)
Mono 3.4.0 ((no/9761a75)
Xcode 5.1.1 (5085)

=== Build Information ===
Release ID: 500000685
Git revision: 25d925b654a5bc09e73c61cba03ea0fea7cae7ed
Build date: 2014-04-14 09:17:38-04
Xamarin addins: c65ce0f454d0fe39178364c8651d2c9b58196179

Now, we are not able to drop elements on navigation controller and TabBarController. Now, they are read only and we are not able to add any element on its root view.
