Description Brandon Bremen 2013-09-08 17:49:22 UTC
I am triggering an error with the MonoGame Tests MacOS project when running tests from within the Xamarin Studio interface by clicking on the "Run Test" dropdown in the editor or when running all tests.

We are getting a low level remoting exception when running tests under xamarin studio. This does not happen when running the tests from the command line.

$ /Applications/Xamarin\ Studio.app/Contents/MacOS/XamarinStudio --no-redirect
Starting Xamarin Studio
   Loading Workbench
      Initializing Main Window
WARNING [2013-09-08 13:35:49Z]: First run content index not found.
Error: did not find one of the files in sources//Library/Frameworks/Mono.framework/External/monodoc/MonoAndroid-man

When running from the command line, I am using the following version of mono from an official release build for Mac.
As you can see, a test runs successfully.

$ which mono
$ mono --version
Mono JIT compiler version 3.2.2 ((no/a0fc6ba Thu Aug 15 15:32:12 EDT 2013)

	Misc:          softdebug
	LLVM:          yes(3.3svn-mono)

$ mono --debug MonoGame.Tests.MacOS.exe -i=OpenALAudioTest.rapidPauseResumeDoesntSkip --stdout=foo --no-launch-results
Run Started: MonoGame.Tests.MacOS

It looks like other people have had a similar problem on linux. See the log at https://gist.github.com/mkrueger/5236693.

Should be fixed with our next release.
