Description of Problem:
I frequently edit files in Xamarin and then have scripts also edit the files. When I get back into Xamarin, it asks me if I want to reload the file. I had no unsaved changes when I left Xamarin, so I wish it would just auto-reload instead of asking me.
What I would like is an option to reload automatically when there are no unsaved changes. I've never wanted not to reload. (And if I somehow did, I'm sure my revision control system could do the work for me)
Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open a file in Xamarin
2. Edit it
3. Save it
4. Open it in an external editor
5. Edit it in the external editor
6. Save it in the external editor
7. Switch to Xamarin
Xamarin asks me if I want to reload. I never want this.
Either by default, or via a setting, I would like it to just reload automatically.
How often does this happen?
Too often :)
You guys rock.
I think that's a good default setting :)
Now if we could only get a shortcut to open an external editor Xamarin's support for external tools would be on par with Visual Studio.
