Please create a new report on
Developer Community with
your current version information, steps to reproduce, and relevant error
messages or log files if you are hitting an issue that looks similar to
this resolved bug and you do not yet see a matching new report.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a new iOS project in VS2010
2. Right click on the project properties and browse to the iOS Applicaiton page
3. Change the app name, version, and bundle ID. Save all, and close the properties window
4. Re-open the properties window, and note that all the changes are lost
5. Double click on the info.plist file, and make the same changes. Save all, and note that the changes are persisted, and now display when viewing the project properties.
Here is a recording of the repro - I can recreate it with any simple "empty" project.
You asked about this Jarina, so I've assigned it to you.

Happens on VS 2012 too
Hi Nat, Andrew and Jason,
This fix was initially meant to go out with the 1.5+ security fix, next Alpha.
Were you hoping to have this back ported and hot fixed for 1.4? If so we'll have to check with pj, to ensure his team has the time test it and push it out.
Fixed in XmarinVS/master commit 20d88eccd0a42b00bac1dbd8c3c9c6be808ffdcc
Verified this bug with Xamarin.iOS for VS 1.8.356.msi and Xamarin.iOS 22.214.171.124.pkg.
User is now able to successfully set app Name, bundle id and version on iOS Application page by navigating to iOS Application page by right click on project properties.
