Description Rodrigo Kumpera 2013-08-16 14:52:30 UTC
Install alpha with monodroid 4.8.2. Create a simple Android template app.

Switch to the stable channel with 4.8.1. Try to open your solution and meet a modal dialog with this message:

Error while trying to load the project '/Users/kumpera/Projects/helloandroid/helloandroid/helloandroid.csproj': Project does not support framework 'MonoAndroid,Version=v4.3'

Then your solution is busted and nothing works on it anymore.

MSBuild needs to emit a "version check" so that if the Product version changes, the obj directory is cleaned.

Workaround: manually delete the obj & bin directories.
