Description Chris Toshok 2011-10-09 01:13:24 UTC
by default when you override a method monodevelop inserts a base.MethodCall() in the body of the method. monotouch short circuits this out for [Model] classes, since the base call is guaranteed to throw an exception.

monomac should have a similar short circuiting.

How is that guranteed - do they have a throw new ...Exception (); call ?
Comment 2 Chris Toshok 2012-03-28 09:26:52 UTC
anything that has [Model] throws everything for its implementations. check out the generated sources for monomac and monotouch.

The monotouch addin already support this. I'm sure the code is there.
