Step which I have followed
1. I have followed the steps mentioned in Test Case: https://testrail.xamarin.com/index.php?/cases/view/6311
2. This is the gist of Terminal which I got after executing some command in terminal: https://gist.github.com/saurabh360/1e07fc9c1b9674d0f4f1
3. After this I am able to install application on Device using adb Install and application launched on device after taping on it but it is blank.
4. Open the sanity Test in X.S
5. Build the sample
Actual Result: It is giving build error which is mentioned in gist: https://gist.github.com/saurabh360/2ce0030279ac2c4c045a
Under the project it is showing Custom.jar and icon.png in red color shown in http://screencast.com/t/bnmT1BSEk
Expected result: User should able to build and run the SanityTest android sample using X.S
X.S 4.0.11(build 6)
This has never worked.
Yeah, I don't think we're going to get Hello/SanityTests running from Xamarin Studio any time soon.
That step at the end of the case has been there for a while (running it on Xamarin Studio) and for some reason the test has passed in recent test runs - for instance, https://testrail.xamarin.com/index.php?/tests/view/924628
I'll remove that step, it probably won't work ever.
On a separate note, we will have this sample/Hello running reliably on both windows and mac automatically soon - we're dealing with some failures still in running it on Windows, but soon this case will just be gone :D.
Setting to RESOLVED WONTFIX for the project working in XS.
