Description Iliass Yousfi 2013-07-18 16:41:49 UTC
I had hard time to complete a new custom build configuration that will include testing contents in some projects in my solution for android.
When I was done, I wanted to package my app using the Package option in visual studio and guess what "OPTION IS DISABLED".
And this is because I named my new custom build configuration "PreProd" (which I started from the release mode).
I know that there were an issue with whether enabling/disabling this option based on using shared runtime (which i do in my PreProd configuration) reported here : https://bugzilla.xamarin.com/show_bug.cgi?id=10530.
But I cannot beleive that this option is grayed based on the configuration name?

Can you confirm please !!

As a guess, in order for the Package menu item to be usable (not disabled), you have to have an appropriate project selected in the Solution panel. Are you sure that an appropriate project is selected?
