When using Text View, the last list gets auto scrolled so the last items are always visible. Using List View, this does not happen resulting in the last items (the ones we most likely want to see) being out of view.
and maybe better add toggle-button "add newest line to upper lines"(or something)
and allow to change font for logging window: "text view" seen better with monowidth font (imo)
Fixed in XamarinVS/master/2dcbc8de27
The fix will auto scroll down to the latest log entry.
The font changing request should probably be filed as a new enhancement.
I have checked this issue with Xamarin 3.1.159. Now, I am seeing autoscroll for newest item in log window for both " List View" and "Text View".
Xamarin 18.104.22.168 (c376d19d2984310ff50a6e741e3e3e9ce4f920a5)
Hence, closing this issue.
