Issue Screengrab

On Windows machine, the Chinese IMEs are disabled. On MAC, I can type Chinese "letter" but they should combine to a Chinese character. However, Xamarin Studio on MAC just show these Chinese letters rather than character.

We have recently landed support for IMEs on Mac (bug 828) and a fix for the Chinese IMEs being disabled on WIndows 8 (bug 12573).

I don't think the problem is the same with bug 828. Xamarin Studio is not support IME on MAC, but it can just type Chinese or Japanese letter, not a character. An Chiniese/Japanese character is usually composed of 2 letters (means that user type 2 letters on keyboard but only show 1 character on screen).

The problem is still exist on Xamarin Studio 4.0.10 and really suffered. Hope it can be fixed as soon as possible. Thanks in advance.

BR, Terry

We have not yet shipped the IME support - it's implemented but we're still fixing some bugs before we ship it.
