Description Lopatkin Ilja 2011-10-05 23:34:23 UTC
When you try to navigate to some definition which is not located in any opened editors, MD just opens target editor on the line that was active before last closing.
If definition is located in opened editor everything works just fine. It doesn't matter whether editor tab is active or not.

OK, I've done some debugging and find out that this bug was introduced by this commit: https://github.com/mono/monodevelop/commit/6482f339ec8f19415a72cf3c55f8e28a3e00d076
The problem is that Control.Realized doesn't get called after editor opens and so no jumping happens.
I'm not good at GTK so can't guess what's going on here. I've tried using Shown event instead and calling Realize method manually but this didn't help.
Bug present both on Windows XP and 7, I'm using GTK# 2.12.10 available from MonoDevelop site.
