Steps to reproduce this issue:
Condition: [Latest Xamarin.Android should be installed on machine like Xamarin.android 4.7.10-24
1. Try to install iOS for VS 1.2.121
Actual Result: When Xamarin.Android 4.7.10-24 is installed on machine and user trying to install latest iOS for VS 1.2.121
We are getting dialog popup which is showing"Newer Xamarin VS Extension already installed" while we do not have any iOS for VS in Control Panel.
We have checked this when we have iOS for VS 1.2.121 previously installed and we have installed Xamarin.Android 4.7.10-24 and then we have uninstalled iOS for VS and again tried to installed iOS for VS 1.2.121, getting same error.
Expected Result: User should able to Install iOS for VS 1.2.121 if having Xamarin.Android 4.7.10-24 installed on machine.
iOS for VS 1.2.121
An Update to the issue:
REGRESSION: This was not happening with Xamarin.Android 4.7.9
1.2.121 is not compatible with the latest (master) builds of both mtvs and mfa. This is by design and will have to be handled when we're ready to release products based on the new installer layouts.
