Description felix.Speedmaster 2013-06-15 07:45:10 UTC
I've a project which is using zip files ( called asset bundles here ) for assets of the application. The application allows to put a file with the same name and path next to the asset bundle to allow testing with different files without patching the complete bundle.

When testing is completed the files are removed and the asset bundle is updated and now the file in the bundle should be used. However there is a issue that xamarin keeps the old file in cache on the mac-host ( even when clearing the project ) and the file is copied into the build.

When starting the app the file which should not exist is used and i getting unexcepted results.

This issue is fixed in the upoming 1.2 release, I believe. Vinicius, can you confirm?
Comment 3 Timothy Risi 2013-10-07 01:00:47 UTC
Is this working correctly since 1.3 released?
Comment 4 Dominique Louis 2013-10-07 04:06:22 UTC
This should be working in the latest version of 1.6, not sure about 1.4.
Comment 5 felix.Speedmaster 2013-11-02 07:25:46 UTC
Currently i'm not able to confirm that it's working. We had some recent changes on our framework so i can't reproduce the bug.
