Please create a new report on
Developer Community with
your current version information, steps to reproduce, and relevant error
messages or log files if you are hitting an issue that looks similar to
this resolved bug and you do not yet see a matching new report.
Steps to reproduce this issue:
1. Open or create an iOS application in VS.
2. Got to Project Option Select iOS IPA Option and check "Build ad-hoc/enterprise package(IPA)"
3. Build or run the project.
4. Click On 'Show IPA File in Finder' form VS.
Actual Result: IPA file not created on mac server. In Mac Server log we are getting .ipa no found.
Expected Result: IPA file should get generated on Mac server.
Mac Server Log: https://gist.github.com/atin360/034c6387d934c0c61525
iOS for VS 1.2.121
Mac Server Mountain Lion 10.8.2
REGRESSION: This was working fine with iOS for VS 1.1.197 and iOS 18.104.22.168
What configuration did you enable the "Build ad-hoc/enterprise package (IPA)" for?
I am unable to reproduce this when selecting "Configuration: Ad-Hoc", and "Platform: iPhone" and then changing my build to Ad-Hoc and deploying to a physical device.
Today we have checked this issue again with the same build and we are successfully able to open IPA file on Mac Server after clicking on 'Show IPA File in Finder' from VS.
Hence closing this issue.
