I use MonoDevelop 4.0.9 on openSUSE 12.3 with Mono 3.0.7 and since some hotfixes the "Play" button that used to compile and start the application does not work properly anymore. It says "building", but that goes far to quick skipping the compilation and starting the application right away ignoring code changes. Even warnings and errors in the source code are ignored.
The project I am working on is https://github.com/OpenRA/OpenRA
Does this still happen? I can't seem to be able to repro (although, I don't have an openSUSE box.)
Can't test the current version 5.5.4 because you forgot to release tarballs http://download.mono-project.com/sources/monodevelop/ I can package.
I guess no one cares and I am now used to smashing F8 everytime I make a change.
Do you have the 'Build before running' option turned off? Seems like that's the case here.
No, it is checked.
