When using Xamarin Studio 4.0.7 (build 3) and updating to 4.0.8, defining a tablesource class that inherits from e.g. UITableViewSource the methods that I want to override such as RowsInSection I get no suggestions/help from the Xamarin Studio.
Make a class that implements UITableViewSource and try to do public override int RowsInsection etc
The platform is NOT PC Windows but Mac (MacBook Pro OS X 10.8.3 (12D78))
Works for me (tested in 4.0.8 and master):
Works for me as well. The thing I mistakenly did was to write
public override int ... or public override void ... etc.
Now when leaving out the return data type it's working.
This bug was marked as fixed for Xamarin Studio 4.0.9, which is currently in the beta channel. Try it out!
