Our sincere thanks to everyone who has contributed on this bug
tracker over the years. Thanks also for your understanding as we
make these adjustments and improvements for the future.
Please create a new report on
Developer Community or GitHub with
your current version information, steps to reproduce, and relevant error
messages or log files if you are hitting an issue that looks similar to
this resolved bug and you do not yet see a matching new report.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Install Xamarin.iOS
2. Go to Path /Library/Frameworks/Mono.framework/Versions/Current/etc/macdoc
Actual Result: we are not seeing macdoc folder under /Library/Frameworks/Mono.framework/Versions/Current/etc/macdoc
Expected Result: User should able to see macdoc folder under path /Library/Frameworks/Mono.framework/Versions/Current/etc/ so that use can check merge.status file.
X.S 4.0.6(build 3)
Also we are not seeing 'MonoTouch-lib.zip.origin' under path /Library/Frameworks/Mono.framework/External/monodoc/
So this file will only be created after a successful merge. It looks like this machine is in the un-merged state.
Note that in this state you *should* be seeing the documentation merge pop-up, but you aren't because of other bugs.
RESOLVING as FEATURE.
As per comment#2 marked this as Verified feature. Now we are seeing 'merge.status'
file after successful merge.
