Open With Example - Graphics File
When you right click on PNG or JPG files for example in Android resources in the Solution Pad, you would expect the Open With list to give you something other than Hex Editor. Hex Editor is not even registered by Windows in the OS list of Open With programs for graphics files, so not sure where it is picking that up from.
Would love to be able to define specific file associations within XS itself that are different from OS, but at a minimum I would think that XS should ask the OS what file-program associations there are, and programs like Paint, Paint.NET, etc would show up for graphics files, etc. The OS maintains a list of several optional programs by file type that appear in the Open With context shell menu...not just the one single Default Program.
I have heard this is already supported in the Mac version of Xamarin Studio, but cannot confirm as I only have access to Windows.
Heya. This is fixed in a recent version of XS. Although, there is no .png association for Paint, it only appears in the Edit context menu item.
