Button on iPhone5
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open iOS Sample 'HTTP Client'.
2. Debug/run the application.
3. Observe that application deployed and launched on device.
Actual result: When user deploy and launch application on device, Button 'Issue HTTP Request' not properly aligned on iPhone5. While on Simulator and other iPhone(iPhone4 and iPhone4S, Button 'Issue HTTP Request' displayed properly.
Expected result: Button should displayed properly on iPhone5.
XS 4.0.4 (build 2)- a8bf58d398a13bcc7595f5f85adae04865a834d4
Mono 2.10.12 (mono-2-10/c9b270d)
I have attached a image of button which we are seeing on iPhone5
This is probably just a minor alignment issue resulting from the larger iPhone screen, which we could handle in the sample as an enhancement.
As long as the functionality is not different, this shouldn't be too big of a deal.
fixed in monotouch-samples dc5b753e3224b19a88d177c3b2358392b06bfaf6
We have checked this issue with following sample and builds:
XS 4.0.8 (build 2)
Mono 3.0.11 ((no/edc181c)
Xcode 4.6.2 (2067.2)
Now, Button 'Issue HTTP Request' is properly aligned on iPhone5.
Hence, verifying this issue.
