Description Goncalo Oliveira 2013-04-22 13:15:14 UTC
Seems that launcher images are not being saved correctly.

Steps to reproduce
1. Create a new project
2. Enter project properties, iOS Application
3. Choose a launch image (320x480)
4. Build and deploy

Launch image doesn't show up. Also, if I go to project properties, iOS Application again, the launch image doesn't show up.
The file is correctly added to the project and to Info.plist, though, it keeps the name. Chris mentioned that the file should be named Default.png, so this doesn't seem right.
Editing the file name doesn't change anything.

It would be great if you could attach the project you are seeing this with, or a simple repro if you can't share the project's source code. Thanks!

As I posted on the comment above, this shows with creating a new project.

Yes, on your machine - that doesn't mean it is reproducible on any other machine. Since it is happening for you, it would be good if we get the code that fails. Thanks!

VS plugin v1.x does not support custom names for Launch images, so in your Empty1 project sample you should use Default.png name instead of splash320x240.png. This will be available for v2.

Today we have checked this issue on following builds :

VS 2010 / 2012
MTVS 1.1.103
Mono 2.10.12

When we add launch image file with any edited name to project and deploy it on device or simulator then it Launch automatically with the added image file.

Hence this issue is working fine. Changing its status to verified.
