When I try to debug my app in VS 2010, it fails to launch. In the output window, I see the message:
Couldn't connect to logcat, GetProcessId returned: 0
I can debug in Xamarin Studio though.
When I create a new Android app in Visual Studio, I'm able to debug OK.
When I launch my old Android app in Release mode, I'm able to debug OK.
When I uncheck the "Use Fast Deployment (debug mode only)" option, I'm able to debug my old Android app in Debug mode.
I have the same issue in Visual Studio. I cannot debug any application under any circumstance. The message: "Couldn't connect to logcat, GetProcessId returned: 0" is always displayed in the debug output window.
I have checked this issue with XVS 3.11.666 and its works fine at my end.
Could you please review the url here is the issue discussed https://forums.xamarin.com/discussion/2274/message-couldnt-connect-to-logcat-getprocessid-returned-0
