Description IBBoard 2011-10-01 06:17:15 UTC
If you add a GTK# FileChooserButton then there is an Action property that can be set to "Save". If you pick that then no warning is given, but the widget won't keep new file names, only existing file names.

From a bit of digging around, it seems that the stetic file drops the "Save" value (meaning it reverts to "Open" mode) and if you set it manually in code then you get a warning from GTK saying "gtk_file_chooser_button_set_property: Choosers of type `GtkFileChooserButton' do not support `GTK_FILE_CHOOSER_ACTION_SAVE'.". Based on https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=157384 it looks like it no longer works and so we probably shouldn't be given the option (unless it is kept only for projects that target sufficiently early versions of GTK).
