Get Monodevelop compiled under win32, try to run it and I get an error saying that the TipsOfTheDay.xml file is not found under "main/build/data" (see screenshot).

Temporarily fixed it doing:

$> cd main/build
$> mkdir data
$> cp bin/options/TipsOfTheDay.xml data

The temp fix is actually this one:

$> cd main/build
$> mkdir -p data/options
$> cp bin/options/TipsOfTheDay.xml data/options

You need to build with msbuild to get the files copied to data/options. Either build with VS or with MD with experimental msbuild engine turned on, or just run build/winbuild.bat.

The files in bin/options were duplicates because "local copy" was set, I fixed that.

That said, I wonder whether we should eliminate the data directory and move these 5 remaining data files to embedded resources and extension points.

I don't think this is an issue anymore. :D
