Description Yves Kurz 2013-03-20 08:21:56 UTC
This bug does not exist on OSX, don't know about Linux.

1.) Make the solution pad auto-hide
2.) click on its label to open it
3.) try to move a file by drag&drop
4.) it does not work.
5.) notice that the widget under the pad gets the events instead of the pad

This applies for all auto-hidden pads not only the solution pad.

GTK+ patch

Apparently, the quartz DND code does more thorough check on the widget that's to receive DND events, which fits the bill wrt overlapping widgets much better than the linux/win32 code. This patch takes the OSX code onto those platforms

Alan, can we get this into our win32 patchset?
Comment 3 Alan McGovern 2013-04-25 23:31:49 UTC
Can we upstream this patch? I added it to our build for now anyway
Comment 4 Michael Natterer 2013-04-26 03:29:40 UTC
Yes I guess it should be upstreamed.
