Project which crashes MonoDevelop
I have no idea why it hates this project, but:
1. Install MonoDevelop 2.8b3
2. Install Mono for Android.
3. Open attached project.
An actual build.
No info in $HOME/Library/Logs/MonoDevelop-2.7/*, no stack trace, just instant death.
It appears to be due to a missing `using`, which xbuild kindfully pointed out:
Activity1.cs(33,41): error CS0246: The type or namespace name `WebRequest' could not be found. Are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?
Once I add a `using System.Net;`, the project is able to build (and report additional errors) w/o dying.
This issue can be worked around by disabling Message Bubbles in the 'Build' section of the MonoDevelop preferences. I believe this issue has been fixed in MonoDevelop 2.8.2 aswell, so you can just update to that release too.
We have verified this issue with MonoDevelop 2.8.5 and Mono For Android 4.0.1,it is still exist when build attached application. Please find attached screenshot.
Kindly reopen this bug.
