The project sharpkit is available at:
Upon loading the solution it appears that something went wrong in loading the configurations.
- most projects are marked (not built in active configuration)
- The main configuration choosers in the top bar are empty/disabled.
- Opening options for one of the "broken" projects and open the Build->General panel cause an exception:
System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Xamarin Studio 4.0.1 (build 9) on windows 8
Monodevelop(git master 2013-03-10) on Ubuntu using mono 3.0.6.
I tried to debug the Monodevelop version, I found that the defaultconfiguration(not exact name) field was null as well, there were 0 configurations in the configurations array.
It does work on Visual Studio 2010.
Hi I'm a SharpKit committer.
When SharpKit is installed, it registers with any installed Visual Studios as an extension, but it doesn't do so with Xamarin Studio. I don't think Xamarin Studio supports extensions in the same sense as VS; correct me if I'm wrong.
What happens when you open the solution in VS when SharpKit is not installed?
There is no SharpKit extension for Xamarin Studio.
