Description John Thornton 2013-03-05 17:21:36 UTC
It doesn't seem possible to produce an IPA using XS and a build host from Visual Studio 2012.

Myself and several others have asked this on the Forums but I’ve seen no resolution.

Per advice in the Xamarin.iOS chat group I've filed this bug.

To repro:
1) Create a new hello world app in Visual Studio
2) Update the manifest so the app has a name
3) Update the options to produce an IPA
4) Build
!) No IPA is ever built. Just .exe

A fix for this has been submitted to QA for testing and regression testing.
