Since installing the Xamarin Studio version of monodroid, I'm getting a lot of emulator reboots when attempting to deploy for debugging. When it happens, its when it is attempting to remove the previous version of the applicaiton. When that happens, deploying hangs there until I cancel it.
Sorry we didn't get to this while it was current. Are you still experiencing emulator issues on XS 4.0.5?
If so, please include any steps you may be able to put together for the reproduction. Also in this case, we may get helpful information from the androidtools log and from the device logcat during deploy.
Go to Xamarin Studio -> Help -> Open Logs directory.
In there, you'll see a bunch of logs, including several 'androidtools' logs. Attach the most recent once if possible.

Are you still seeing this problem?
I'm no longer working on the project, so I can't say if its fixed.
Alright - definitely let us know if you experience this again!
