Description Allie Miller 2013-03-01 16:11:02 UTC
After trying to Package my app under Build as I normally have done with no issue in the past, the package link is now greyed out and I cannot package the app or any others.

Has attempted to deactivate and re-downloaded everything and it did reactivate the workstation, but still cannot package.

Confirmed Business edition of Xamarin.Android.

Is it the the "Create Android Package..." or "Publish Android Application..."? What is the active configuration?
Comment 2 dmuller 2013-03-04 21:16:51 UTC
Under 'Build' -> 'Package ***** for Android (.apk)'
The configuration is set for Release. But it could previously be packaged when set to Debug as well, although the package wouldn't install on the android phone.

I installed mono-android- and now everything is working as before and I am able to package.

Today we have checked this issue with following builds:

VS 2012/2010
X.S 4.0 - 1645b898271456799b70944c8b356ed6c5c00fdf
Xamarin.iOS - 4.6.1

And we are seeing option 'Package...(.apk)' as grayed out in case of debug mode on VisualStudio only. However, With X.S this is working fine in both debug and release mode. This is the screencast for the same:

Hence reopening this issue.

Lal, I think you mean Xamarin.Android, not Xamarin.iOS :D.
Comment 7 narayanp 2013-03-07 10:56:15 UTC
