Description Mikayla Hutchinson [MSFT] 2013-02-28 01:38:16 UTC
From http://forums.xamarin.com/discussion/1713/nullreferenceexception-autocomplete#latest

I'm using the new Xamarin Studio (Final) and had an issue with the auto complete feature. In the Interface Builder I added an action for a button (Type: UIButton, Parameter: None). After saving and switching back to Xamarin Studio I wanted to implement the Action Method like these workflows:

partial MyButtonClick ENTER

partial MyButtonClick TAB

The issue is still existing if I write (exception will be thrown after typing the open bracket):

partial MyButtonClick(

Now I have to test if this still happens when I'm writing:

partial void MyButtonCLick...

May the issue could be the missing return keyword (void or whatever)

Seems to work in master.
