It doesn't work. I have to aim with the stylus and double click with my trackpad. Huge pain.
Comment 1 Michael Natterer 2013-02-28 04:32:17 UTC
Does it work on any UI control in MonoDevelop, or not at all?
Comment 2 Jessy Catterwaul 2013-02-28 14:17:55 UTC
I don't know where to find a UI control that requires a double-click; please tell me if you know where to find one. I'm talking specifically about selecting a word; sorry I didn't think to specify. Right now is actually the first time it has worked for me in weeks, but I don't know why that is. I will update if I can figure out what causes things to go awry.

Any textbox in preferences should work to test word selection. You could also double-click on a project on the solution pad to open project options.

The reason Mitch is asking is because the main source editor is a custom control, he want' to know whether it's a problem in the custom control or the toolkit.

I have this bug on Windows 7, but it's not restricted to double-clicking. All tree -views and combo-boxes in xamarin just ignore any clicking on the tablet. This includes both tapping the tablet, and pressing the click button on the tablet.
Buttons and text boxes still work.
It makes using Xamarin impossible.

@cody: may've been already resolved

If Jessy is still receiving this mail, maybe he can tell us if it's still an issue?
