Description softlion 2013-02-23 13:13:41 UTC
In VS2012, the android designer (axml editor) does not synchronize the selected item between source and design mode.

If a view is selected in design mode, in source mode the caret position is not on the xml tag declaring the selected view.

And if you switch between design and source mode, the caret regularily resets its position to the top of the file.

Also, in source mode, the "save" button does not work all the time. Some changes may also be lost as they are never saved.

Last but not least, in source mode only, when visual studio looses focus, then regain focus after some time (time to play in the android simulator), then the content of the window is set to the previous XML. If I don't close and reopen the file immediately then all my last changes are lost.
