When building under VS2012 I always have the output window open, and it default to Build when compiling. I would like to see the Mac Server Log at the same time, either as another dockable window or a combined view so I can see the full progress of the build operation.
Alternatively more feedback to the Build output window to show the actual progress.
Otherwise developer is left waiting indefinitely with no clear indication of build progress, without manually switching to Mac Server Log view.
Unfortunately Visual Studio does not allow duplicate or split the Output View, this is beyond of our control.
You could tail your ~/Library/Logs/Xamarin/MonoTouchVS/mtbserver.log on your Mac.
How about switching to Mac Server Log automatically when the VS build is complete, so we can see the rest of the build progress
As per comment 3, this bug is invalid.
And as in comment 4, we have alternative to see build progress.
Hence closing this issue. Changing its status to verified.
