Description Paul Johnson 2013-02-21 13:43:04 UTC
While my target API is Gingerbread, the designer is showing the API to be ICS. This is not a problem as the widgets and properties not available in the target aren't available in the designer.

Use Largest Child is, which is not in the 2.3.3 API for a linear layout

How are you selecting the target API?
Comment 2 Paul Johnson 2013-03-12 12:31:27 UTC
Project settings - I leave everything else alone
Comment 3 Lluis Sanchez 2013-03-12 12:36:45 UTC
The Use Largest Child is part of the 2.3.3 API, although it may have been deprecated, since it is not present anymore in more recent versions. The designer reads the property information from the Android SDK, and the property is defined there for api levels 8 and 10.
