from what I can tell, this has to be the CompilationUnit that is null, but I don't know for sure...

Alan: can you add some debugging CWL's or something to main/src/core/MonoDevelop.Ide/MonoDevelop.Ide.NavigateToDialog/SearchResult.cs TypeSearchResult.get_File()?

This was probably something to do with navigating to a file which hadn't been processed by code completion or something. I can't reproduce this again. We should be able to handle this case, whatever it was, without blowing up though. Maybe we should just bail out if the CompilationUnit is null.

Shouldn't happen anymore - the types have now a real type <--> filename connection ...
