Description César 2013-02-21 01:21:12 UTC

I tried to run Xamarin Studio on full screen mode and it crashed on me.

Steps to reproduce:

1) Open Xamarin Studio.
2) Create a new iOS project.
3) Debug it in the emulator.
4) Close the emulator.
5) Click View -> Full screen.
6) Witness Xamarin Studio crash and burn in fire at the hands of the OSX gods.

Expected behavior:

Go to fullscreen mode.

Do you have a crash trace and/or the XS log file?

This appears to be a bug in GTK+ passing a null title to [NSWindow setTitle:]

That said, this shouldn't be a problem in the next release, it will have MacOS Lion fullscreen support, which uses a different fullscreening mechanism.

Today we have checked this issue with following builds:

X.S 4.0 - 1645b898271456799b70944c8b356ed6c5c00fdf
Mono 2.10.12 (mono-2-10/823e22f)

We are successfully able to get X.S in Full Screen mode, it is not crashing. Also we have followed all steps mentioned in bug. it is working fine. This is the screencast for the same: http://screencast.com/t/5I6Hedlh
