We should upgrade our templates in Xamarin Studio to work with 6.0 as well.

Sebastien, do we have a nice sample for what is needed for the template to work on both OSes?

The old bad templates are also present in Xamarin Studio.

We would need to do something like:

if (OSVesion < XXX){
    window.AddSubview (someview);
   window.RootViewController = vc;

I don't think any of the Xamarin Studio templates use window.AddSubview() anymore.

Recent XS templates I used (to benchmark time/size) did not use `window.AddSubview`. Nor was the recent one done fot MTVS.

I'm not sure we should give templates to target < 5.0 - it gets ugly (and confusing) as it requires keeping more references than the new code (e.g. on the VC).

Maybe we should add this to `RootViewController` documentation ? that's where people will likely look for if they can't run the application on a 4.x device.
