I accidentally ended up with a method like this in my code:
static public short ReadShort(Stream stream)
When i ran my unit tests they just exited with a strange 'unix pipe error' message when that code was executed which made it incredibly hard to figure out what had actually gone wrong in my code. If the app crashes with a stackoverflow when running a unit test, would it be possible to get better information?
Can you try to create simple repro project file
We now ship OSX with stack overflow detection enabled.
