Steps to reproduce:
1. Extract provided "FileNotFound.zip".
2. Launch the MonoDevelop.
3. Open provided .sln file.
4. Build the application.
5. Run the application.
6. Enter file name into the text field.
7. Click on "Click Button".
8. See message which is under catch block is not appear on the MonoDevelop console.

Actual result:
In the created application we tried to open a file, file name is provided through the text filed in the iPhone simulator. If file exists in the "/Users/User/Projects/" location, application run successfully otherwise it throws Unhandled exception.
Please refer the attached sccenshot.

Expected result:
If file does not exist in the "/Users/User/Projects/" location, It should displayed the catch block's message in the MonoDevelop console.

This isn't actually a bug - what you want to do is put the try/catch inside of the delegate.

The reason your catch isn't getting hit is because setting the delegate isn't causing any exceptions.
