The first arg in SetStatusBarHidden(state,animation) should be named hidden instead of state - the current naming doesn't make sense:

UIApplication.SharedApplication.SetStatusBarHidden(state: true, animation:UIStatusBarAnimation.None);

I agree, it is a poor name in this case, but fixing it will break existing user code.
